For the third time, Malicounda will visit École Gabrielle Roy in Edmonton for Black Month History! Drum, songs, and dance will be presented!
Staff development will be presented with the Orff Chapter in Winnipeg Manitoba. 40 music teachers will be attending the all-day session on how to make music with children using rhythm games, songs in four languages, dance, and improvisation using a special technic that has been taught all around the world.
Full-day workshops will be presented on February 10, 2023. A half-day session for the French Immersion and a half-day for the English Teacher. For the third time, Malicounda will be visiting École Ste-Marguerite Bourgeoys in Calgary.
Malicounda will be offering a day-and-a-half workshop on Drum Circle presented in French and English. Dance, songs in four languages, and improvisation will be on the menu! Traditional drums and musical instruments from several countries around the world will be available.
Three days of drum circle workshop will be presented in Spanish, French, and English!
Malicounda will visit for the second time Ecole Ste-Jeanne Darc in Edmonton. Two days of drum circle workshops will be presented in French for Black Month History.
Malicounda will be presenting a workshop for the GETCA for teachers on how to facilitate a drum circle in their classroom. Drums and musical instruments from different countries around the world will be available.
Experience the transformative power of rhythm by making music together! A workshop on how to make music in the classroom with 100 early childhood educators will be offered. Rick Becker from Malicounda will be participating in the workshop.
